100% Cosmetic Grade Isopropyl Myristate IPM. Commonly used as a cosmetic additive, fragrance additive, and for soap making. Also widely used by makeup artists as a gentle make-up remover that effectively removes many types of make-up and prosthetic adhesives like pros-aide, pax paint, and all grease and theatrical makeups. Can be used to clean airbrushes and is often used to thin silicone based airbrush makeup. Used in many OTC cosmetics and is considered to be an emollient that softens the skin. Counteracts the “oily” feel in some lotions. Absorbs quickly. Oil Soluble. Not Soluble in water. Can be used to smooth oil based clays.
