Tamanu (Calophyllum inophyllum) is a tree that grows in the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia. Natives refer to the tree as God's tree. In India, it's called Sultan Champa. Many refer to the oil of the Tamanu seed as Green Gold. We like to call it Overnight Miracle Oil.
Tamanu Oil (huile de tamanu) is rich in fatty acids and is loaded with polyphenols, a natural antioxidant. The oil can be applied directly to the skin or scalp to soothe and calm irritated skin and to reduce itching. The oil can be massaged into scars and stretch marks to lessen their appearance.
