Product description : Ratan jot is traditionally used in tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh, India for its therapeutic properties. The part of the herb used is the root. This herb, when used with oil, helps arrest hair fall and premature greying. Oil infused with this herb promotes hair growth. It is a natural hair conditioner and helps arrest premature greying, baldness and hair loss. If you want to use the herb as a hair colour, it's best to add the powdered for with henna although you should expect a reddish brown colour on hair after use, as that is the natural colour of henna and ratan jot also gives out a similar colour. If you also add a good amount of Indigo powder in your henna and ratanjot mix, the colour will be more towards the darker side. Alkanet root powder is also used as the natural soap dye.
